PHONE: 919.782.4600 RALEIGH – Reflecting its outstanding workplace safety record, Southern Industrial Constructors and its wholly owned subsidiary, Southern Crane, recently came in first place in the 2006 Summit awards given by the CarolinasAGC, the statewide affiliate of Associated General Contractors of America, the nation’s oldest and largest construction trade organization. The companies won the award in the subcontractor/specialty division for working more than 90,000 hours without a lost-time incident. Southern Industrial / Southern Crane has been involved with the AGC for more than 20 years. The Summit awards are part of the trade association’s National AGC Safety Awards program.
